Experienced Estimator

American Civil Constructor, located in Benicia California is looking for an experienced, motivated Estimator with a background in Heavy Civil Marine work to join our team.

Qualifications:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills within all levels of personnel.

Ability to work well in a team environment.

Strong project and time management skills.

Exceptional math skills to include drafting and blueprint reading.

Knowledge of employment and contract law, insurance and bonding as it relates to construction costs.

Advanced computer skills – HCSS Heavy Bid experience a plus.

5 + years experience/background in Heavy Civil Marine construction, design, finance and management.

Project management and/or project engineering experience a plus.

#1 Qualification: Must have working knowledge of how to build work.

Field Engineer

This position is responsible for designing and monitoring the construction of civil projects. Must have the ability to incorporate the principles of science and mathematics into the cost-effective management and design of permanent and temporary structures. This position is based out of Benicia, CA.
Must have a valid drivers license and be able to meet ACC guidelines for driver eligibility.
